This is a summer program that is highly selective for students who have a strong interest in science and mathematics. It would certainly help if you are planning on attending college to study one of these subjects.
The tuition is free. The classes are held from 10am to 12:30 pm on Saturdays throughout the academic year. Instructors are scientists and mathematicians who are actively engaged in research at the University
Applicants must be in the 11th, 10th, or 9th grades. The program uses an online application process which you can access at www.columbia.edu/cu/shp/apply.html.
